Birthday!

Today was my birthday

I got woken up at 730 by Austin who was carrying a castle made of Reeses, Trident gum, Pepsi, tape, and stuff. It was awesome and i loved it. Him and Ashley made it. =) it started my day off right. I was also given a camera, which I used later today. ha.

I had to get my house and stuff cleaned after classes today and i made some snacks for people at work. My house had to be clean because Megan was coming over tonight. ha. It's an unwritten rule to bring snacks on your birthday. ha. I made some roll-up thingies with my mother and they were delicious. My coworkers loved them. I was also given some candy from Phyllis and Jane who are friends of mine from work.

When Megan showed up we ate some awesome burritos and she got to bond it up with my family. They didn't talk much though. ha. We then went upstairs to watch an action flick! Eagle Eye. She has never seen it. She's a weirdo. This wasn't her type of movie. she likes lovey dovie movies with corny plots and predictable endings, ha. JK! sorta.

We ended up holding hands...which i am still nervous to do, and she ended up enjoying the movie! =)

After the movie, we went on a drive to the park. I brought my camera to take some pictures that weren't very professional. I suck. ha.

The streaming lights are just lights in the background that my camera failed to pick up...but it made it look cool. ha

Megan is still just as awesome as I thought. =)

Don't read this..its boring

The stars lean down to kiss you
And I lie awake and miss you
Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere

'Cause I'll doze off safe and soundly
But I'll miss your arms around me
I'd send a postcard to you, dear
'Cause I wish you were here

I'll watch the night turn light-blue
But it's not the same without you
Because it takes two to whisper quietly

The silence isn't so bad
'Til I look at my hands and feel sad
'Cause the spaces between my fingers
Are right where yours fit perfectly

I'll find repose in new ways
Though I haven't slept in two days
'Cause cold nostalgia
Chills me to the bone

But drenched in vanilla twilight
I'll sit on the front porch all night
Waist-deep in thought because
When I think of you I don't feel so alone

I don't feel so alone, I don't feel so alone

As many times as I blink
I'll think of you tonight
I'll think of you tonight

When violet eyes get brighter
And heavy wings grow lighter
I'll taste the sky and feel alive again

And I'll forget the world that I knew
But I swear I won't forget you
Oh, if my voice could reach
Back through the past
I'd whisper in your ear
Oh darling, I wish you were here

That song really got to me today...its a good one. Random, but just so you know. ha

I am eating a big mac. I'm gonna be fat, but hopefully, i'll be married by then and it'll be her problem. ha. =)

You ever do something you regret? I did that yesterday, and all day long i've felt like a jackass. I have apologized, and i'm sure she's forgiven me, but..still. i feel like a giant douche.

I'm getting sooo stressed. All I want to do is be with friends, but most of them seem to be ditching out on me. I work all the time, and then have school all the time. I need more free time. bleh..

this is a dumb blog entry, sorry for wasting your time.

I did draw 2 pictures at work..here they are.

"What are those things?"

I think all I write on this is about my dates...

After several minutes of searching for the perfect spot to stargaze, I finally decided to go to my step dads house. I had premade some hot chocolate in a thermos and I kept feeling it along the way to be sure it was still hot, because who wants to drink cold chocolate? Not I...
My step dad lives in the middle of nowhere, so we set out for his house. As I pulled up, Shadow was there to greet us. He's my awesome dog. As we worked our way into his house, I had to give her a tour of the place. I mean, I lived there for a good 4 years. I showed her my old bedrooms and some artwork and thats about it.

We got out of the house and headed to my car and grabbed the sleeping bag and blanket and set for the edge of the yard. We made a bed on the ground and lied down slurping down our hot chocolate with 18 dozen marshmallows. My dog wouldn't leave us alone. He kept loving on us and after his drool kept getting on the blanket and stuff, I decided I had to get rid of him. So, Megan and I marched back to the house and put him up.

As we got settled back on the sleeping bag, we lied down and covered up and stared at the stars. We kept seeing these floaty star things which I have no idea what they were. I remember asking her "What are those things?" No sounds, no blinky lights, or anything like and airplane... Maybe a satellite? not sure.

As we shared some conversation, I finally got the courage to grab her hand. =)

I saw a couple of shooting stars, and when I yelled at Megan to see if she saw it, she was like, "What!? No, you're lying!" and so I had to convince her I saw them.

We were in the middle of some conversation when all of a sudden some bright light flashed across the sky leaving the faint mark of a tail where a shooting star had once been. I quit talking sat up and was like, "Did you see that!?" and of course she did, I mean, you had to be blind to miss that one!
I was so excited after seeing that shooting star just because it pretty much ended our evening with perfection. I was holding her hand and we were comfy under the blankets after sipping our chocolate, with some good conversation, and then that shooting star that she has never seen.

It was by far my favorite date.

Trevor's exciting life

I had a date this weekend with Megan, who I think is the only person who reads this, but, I suppose this will give her an insight into my mind! On my way to her house, I had to pick up a redbox movie. I pulled into that not so unfamiliar McDonald's and stopped next to the machine. I marched right up to that screen and began searching for a nice pick that a girl would enjoy. I called her up, because we had it planned out that we would pick something out together over the phone, but upon several rings, she did not answer. I assumed she was still working and she was getting off late, but I trusted my instincts and continued scrolling through that list of movies. I finally decided to get Did You Hear About the Morgans, which looks kinda funny.

I headed on that "long" journey to her house and called her a few more times. Still no answer. I got to Ark City and slowed down quite a bit because I didn't want to beat her home. I looked at my phone, and then had a voicemail and a text. I accidentally deleted her voicemail and so I just called her up. She said she was almost home, but she needed to shower and stuff and so I should drive slow. I drove 50 mph for 20 miles and got passed by about 200 angry looking people. I couldn't help but smile everytime somebody passed me, because they probably thought I was an old lady or something and I probably surprised them when they saw an 18 year old kid driving slow! ha.

I decided to give her a little while longer, so I toured her hometown. I saw the entire town in nearly 1.8 minutes. I then called her back up and she said she was ready and so I headed to her house, which wasn't difficult to find at all. She was nice enough to greet me outside. I walked into her house and was re-introduced to her mom and then introduced to her 9 foot brother. Then her jokester of a stepdad shook my hand and said he might confuse my name with the other 3 guys that were over last week. All in all they were a nice family.

Megan and I bonded it up with a walk down her dirt road with some awesome goats, horses, and cows and we made a friend with the neighbors dog who I wished would have just...died or something. He wouldn't quit barking, and when Megan's dog finally got tired of it, they 2 dogs quarreled for a bit, and the neighbors dog finally headed home. I pet megan's dog for a job well done. ha.

When we got back to the house, we had to wait a bit longer for supper to be done. We ate some delicious Lasagna and green beans. Her mom feared she overcooked the breadsticks, but they were delicious. After our dinner and sitting around the table and discussing life and what not, Megan and I headed downstairs for the movie.

her brother made us some unwanted popcorn, but he later devoured it all by himself, ha. megan and I sat in the couch and were all cozy with a blanket and the movie.

*I'm somewhat changing the subject for a brief second, but it will relate to my blog*

Have you ever wanted to hold hands with someone and you weren't sure if they would hold hands with you? No matter how old I am, I still find holding hands the hardest thing in the entire world...bleh. I haven't had the opportunity to hold it with very many, but jeeze...i'm a wimp.

*back to the story*

I laughed at several things that I found freakin hilarious during the movie, and Megan just stared at me weirdly. She laughed at a few things, but her laugh made me laugh..so I just felt like I was copying her.

She enjoyed my pick of the movie, and then we headed upstairs after the movie and bonded it back up with Dylan. I then went home and to bed!

Megan thought I had a boring time, but I had a lot of fun. She and her family are awesome.

This weekend

Friday-

I worked until 7 on friday. I was really anxious for 7 to get there because I had a date with Megan again. I was trying to think of something fun to do for 2 hours because the last song started at 930. I met her at the theaters and gave her an obnoxious wave to make up for her giving me one last time. =) On my way up there, she left me a voice mail saying our date was cancelled...which scared me. ha.
I ended up taking her to my house to show her my kittens, we went to the park with like 1000 little kids, and then through the nature trail.
The movie started and we got there like..15 minutes early. While watching the previews, I was cracking up at the previews to shrek and another cartoon. Megan was staring at me like i was retarded..but i'm just easily amused.
That night I went to the coopers house and went to the casino and lost 20 bucks, and watched a movie and stayed the night.

Saturday-
Woke up at the Coopers house. I saw Kelsi getting ready for the day in a dress...which I thought was dumb. She ended up changing and putting on some shorts and stuff. We played frisbee golf and then went to pick up kyle and then to island park!
There we walked along the creek and explored the woods and stuff. It was a ton of fun. We saw this gravestone across the creek and decided we would cross the creek later that night to read what it said.
We went and ate chinese after that after picking up beth. Jacob met us there and then him and kyle went to band practice. Kelsi, Ryan, Beth and I all went to wilson park and had a good time. We laughed a lot! Especially at this little kid who thought he was an amadillo.
Then we went to walmart and bought silly string. We saw Megan and her friends there...which was cool. On our way down the high way we sprayed several people with silly string and then we went to kelsi's backyard and had a war.
We all got into our crappy clothes, shorts, bad tennis shoes and we headed for the creek. We crossed that creek which was freezing and was almost as high as my knees, and then we had to cross a field of thorns, bushes, spider webs, and wild animals, we then arrived to that gravestone. Ended up being a pretty boring goal..but it was a fun trip.
We all had scratched legs and stuff. We went to walmart with sopping wet shoes and stuff. People were staring at us and wondering where we went to get soaked shoes. ha. they were squeaking and leaving a trail and everything.
It was an awesome day that I'll never forget.

Sunday-
was easter. enough said.
